Check-In

Registration with Aquila

To play AirlineSim you need to register with Aquila, our global account tool. Please choose an account name (no special character and spaces) and enter a valid permanent e-mail and repeat this e-mail. After accepting the General Clauses and sending the registration form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with an automatic generated initial password. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, please check your spam-folder. You should login within 24 h upon registration. Otherwise your account will be deleted and you have to repeat the registration process.

Please make sure to change your password on the first log-in as well as in a regular period to keep your login safe.

Pick your launch country

Think first about the country you want to set up your airline in. The choice is very important, because the base of your enterprise is relevant to the traffic rights for your enterprise.

Think about your long-term company structure

You may operate your first enterprise (holding) as an airline. But then you can not start an IPO on this enterprise or sell it at the stock market. You may create a second enterprise as a daughter of the first one. This one can be traded at the stock market if you choose to go public.

Launch your first enterprise (holding)

Click on the '+'-symbol in the Status Bar to create a new enterprise. Enter a name for your first enterprise (holding) and a hub/ base. Please be sure to select a name which applies to our naming conventions.

Each holding enterprise will receive a start capital of 10 million AS$ on its bank account. Please note, that it is a game rules that cooperation between holdings of one player is expressly forbidden.

Optional: Create a subsidiary

To create another enterprise click on the ’+’-symbol in the Status Bar. Your existing enterprise(s) (holding/mother enterprise) is listed in the form. Select the parent company of your new enterprise and enter the requested details of your new enterprise.

Please note:

• You have to decide how much starting capital will be given to the new enterprise. The minimum start capital is 3.0 mio AS$.
• Naming conventions do apply.
• The traffic rights will be checked. If the hub of your new enterprise is located in the same country of the holding enterprise, you will have full traffic rights, otherwise they might be limited.
