On-board Service
Under the menu item "On-Board Service" you have the option of in-flight services in food and non-food sectors.
For each class (Economy, Business and First Class) different service settings can be made in all areas. On the upper left side cumulative price per passenger is shown.
The "food" area offers a variety of service settings to cater to the well being of your passengers. It starts with drinks and snacks and continues to the main course and the second meal.
In order to serve a hot meal, the distance between origin and destination should be at least 800 kilometers. Some high-quality dishes dishes can only be served on flights longer than 1,500 kilometers. Therefore, it may be necessary to create different service profiles for short-haul and long-haul flights.
To the right you will find the service settings for the non-food sector. This includes settings for the quality of the headphones, newspapers and magazines, on-board magazine, and the packaging options for meals. The latter reflects the way the meals are served to the passengers. There are no limitations to the distance in kilometers.
At this point, there's no recipe regarding the best and most economical settings. The quality of onboard service is closely linked with your airline concept - which is why it is extremely important to think of your airline concept beforehand. Should my airline will be a low-cost carriers? Or should the passengers are treated comprehensively and on a bed of roses? This is basically decided based on on-board service.
The settings you select are included in the flight evaluation.
Cabin Configurations
General
In this section you decide on the configuration of the aircraft cabin.
Existing configurations, capacity of each class, total pax capacity of the aircraft and the number of flight attendants can be seen at a glance.
You can create as many profiles as you want. In order to create a new cabin layout, select the desired type of aircraft and enter a description.
Configuration
First you must know which classes to offer in this aircraft. A three-class seating is useful, for example, only for very large aircraft.
Then, for each booking class, choose a seat type (shown at right, point 1). Choose the best equipment to make passengers more comfortable, especially on routes with great competition, where you can passengers only by offering significantly better product. Keep in mind, that better seats take more place, therefore the capacity of the aircraft is reduced. Therefore, it's always a trade off between quality and efficiency.
Below, you can select the desired number of seats of each class of travel (shown at right, number 2). Press Top up option under the class in order to automatically fill any remaining space with seats.
Finally, you should decide how many flight attendants you want to use in the respective class of travel (shown at right, point 4). Aircraft with fewer than 20 seats do not necessarily need a flight attendant. By default one attendant is responsible for 50 passengers per booking class. More flight attendants have a positive effect on the evaluation of your flights.
