Fleet
Fleet allows also bring some structure in order to manage your fleet better. Therefore, new fleets can be created and existing ones deleted. Individual aircraft can be assigned to a fleet. If a fleet is deleted, all the aircraft still in it will be transfered to standard fleet. Thus you can create fleets based on areas the aircraft in it serve, or based on HUBs, Economic viability, strategic importance and etc.
Manufacturer
In this section all the in-game aircraft manufacturers and their produced aircraft are listed. Here you can buy or lease new or used aircraft.
Aircraft type evaluation
This tools is used to evaluate the potential efficiency of the various aircraft. First thing you have to do is pick a route. Subsequently, add the various aircraft to the comparison list, which will display a number of possible flights per week, number of seats, fixed costs, costs per seat and most importantly - profit/loss at various load intervals. You can change the parameters of the evaluation at the end of the page, where you can change variables as aircraft age, class, seats and price.
Leasing
In this section all your leasing contracts (both out an in) are visible. In the upper section of the page you can lease aircraft to other airlines. It is only possible if you meet the required criteria: (a) you are the owner of the aircraft, (b) your company is worth more than 50,000,000 AS$ and (c) aircraft has no scheduled flights. In order to lease an aircraft, select it. Check whether the contract is pre-signed or not. If the contract is pre-signed, potential lessee will receive aircraft immediately and you won't have to approve the leasing agreement or vice-versa. You can change whether the contract is pre-signed or not after you have listed the aircraft for lease. Similarly, you can already remove the leasing offer.
If a leasing agreement is in place, both the leaser and the lessee may terminate the agreement. In this case the aircraft will return to it's owner after the next lease payment. Aircraft will also return to the leaser if lessee fails to come up with lease payment. In that case aircraft returns to the owner and lessee receives deposit minus this weeks leasing fee.
If lessee leased AS aircraft at least 4 weeks ago, he may buy the aircraft at the price specified. It is not possible to buy aircraft from private lenders.
It is important to mention, that the aircraft listed for sale do not count towards maintenance categories (see maintenance).
Aircraft sale
This page is made of three parts. Similar to Leasing, the upper two sections are related to selling an aircraft. It is only possible to sell if you meet the required criteria: (a) you are the owner of the aircraft and (b) aircraft has no scheduled flights. Similarly, one can also choose whether the sales contract is pre-signed or not.
If the aircraft is not sold in 14 days, AS will buy the plane from you. It is important to mention, that the aircraft listed for sale do not count towards maintenance categories (see maintenance)
