Dashboard and Game-Settings

With the launch of release 1.5 the initial page for a selected enterprise will be called dashboard. It has some important information on one view. Also the game settings are new in this release.

Dashboard

Selecting an enteprise on the top of the screen or via the menue Enterprise --> Overview the Dashboard will be opened. The dashboard is separated into 6 parts (also called Widgets): Company, Upcoming Events, Notepad, Stock, Image and Subsidiaries. Further Widget and a selection which widget to be displayed on the dahsboard will be added in further releases.

Company

The Company-Widget displays the logo of the enterprise (if uploaded) and the most important information about the enterprise. These information are: name of the enterprise, its code, hub (airport/country) and the benchmarks rating, Fleet size and employees.

Upcoming Events

The Upcoming Events-Widget ist showing you the expenses and earnings of the next three days based on contracts and terminated events like aircraft deliveries. These events don't belong to the direct costs of a flight. To extend this list, click on the link "View complete financial schedule" or select "Enterprise" -> "Financial Schedule".

Notepad

The Notepad-Widget allows you to write down hints or thoughts for your enterprise. You can see these notes from each internet-connected computer in the whole world when your logged into AirlineSim. To add or edit a note, double click on the note. The note will only displayed to you - no other player can see it.

Stock

If an enterprise made an IPO, the Stock-Widget will display you the most important information about this stock. This contains the stock quote, the change of the stopck quote and an overview of the shareholders. By clicking the link "View all details" you will be directed to the stock-detail page.

Image

The Image-Widget displays the current image values for the thre booking classes (Economy, Business und First) and freight. Also the values a week ago will be displayed to compare them to this week values.

Subsidiaries

The Subsidiaries-Widges displays all subsidiaries you are controlling (main shareholder). These and further stocks can be displayed via "Holding" -> "Subsidiaries and Portflio".

Game Settings

Each player is now able to change some game-settings to make AirlineSim a bit more personal and comfortable. Each players like or unlike some functions, so they are free of choice how AirlineSim will react. Game-Settings are devided into the parts: Global settings, Time and time zones, Flight planning and route management, System settings and User interface. Further game settings may be implemented within further releases.

Global settings

The global settings allows you to choose the language (e-mail notification only) and if your account-name should be displayed on the home-page of a game-server as active, while you are online.

Time and time zones

You can choose if your times within AirlineSim shall be displayed as hub-time, local time or UTC. The selection is valid for all time/dat displays within AirlineSim - i.e. Slots, Timetables and financial schedule.

Flight planning and route management

In this part you have several options to change the behaviour of flight planing and/or route management. These options are: shall scheduling a new filgt begin with adding a new flight or shall the list of existing flights on a route also show the own flightsor shall all day be selected when adding a new flight. You can also select if flights shall be shown on the existing flights selection upon scheduling where no assignment was made, only some day were assigned or even all days were assigned. And you can select if new flights will be suggested in 5-minute periods after the last arrival time.

You can also select, if the route management will allow you only existing routes or any combination of offices as departure/arrival airports. The link to adjust the route prices to standard prices can be made invisible (on less tab).

System settings

You can choose if you want to receive an e-mail notification upon receiving a new in-game-messages.

User interface

The tables in release 1.5 are a little bit more graphic oriented. Ypu can select the more comprehensive table design of 1.3 or the more graphical.
