General Information

The INDEPENDENT Sky Alliance (ISA) is a cooperation between international operating airlines with the overall aim to supply a worldwide superior network of flights to its passengers in which continous service standards, comfortable designed terminal and lounge areas as well as short times for interchange make travelling in every possible area of our world a pleasure.

All of our member airlines rely on modern and homogenous fleets of aircrafts. As another bonus, the INDEPENDENT Sky Alliance offers the Frequent Flyer Programme 'INDEPENDENT Miles Club'. By signing up for the by the airlines individually designed 'INDEPENDENT Card', the customer is able and encouraged to book flights throughout the entire ISA network and collect valuable bonus miles for flying, staying in a hotel, renting a car and much more. These miles can then be converted into valuable premiums, various amenities and free flights.

Fundamentals & Principles

The INDEPENDENT Sky Alliance (ISA) defines itself as a partner for cooperation that supports its members actively in their expansion. This can happen in different ways:

Aircraft Leasing between members
Liquidity Support for Takeovers
Check of all Interlining Agreements (Alliance members come first)
Coordination of member networks for an optimal shared Route Management

We emphasize:

Frequent dialogue & communication (We generally communicate via Skype)
a friendly atmosphere & behaviour
Voting of all members for certain actions (eg New members or issues regarding Public Relations)
Democratic community - The INDEPENDENT Sky Alliance does not have any directors or hierarchies (All members share the same right for votes and decisions are made through simple majority vote)

Become a Member

Generally, every airline has the opportunity to apply for a membership in the INDEPENDENT Sky Alliance. However, the following requirements should be checked before making an application:

Currently we are looking for any new INTERCONTINENTAL members.
DOMESTIC carriers are welcomed as well, in this case however, more than 80% of the flight network should be conducted inside the country of the airline's origin.
The Airline should exist at least 6 weeks or more and its owner must not be known as a cheater.
The application should include brief introduction about the airline as well as the player behind it, and should also contain some future prospects about strategy, expansion, destinations, fleet and any other detail possibly important to mention.

After receiving your application all alliance members will come together to consult. This should normally not take longer than 48h. If necessary, we would contact the applicant again for further information required.
