AirlineSim's "continents" do not strictly follow the geographic ones (they are too many for that anyway, in case you didn't notice ;-)). They more or less follow soft political, economical, cultural and other factors. After all they are not be taken too seriously, though. It's just a category for easier handling.

There is no Central America! Mexico is splitted between North and South America because the Yucatan Peninsula is in South America including the Mexican Part of the Peninsula.

-Charter Private Flight
-More aircraft pictures
-Flight animation (just some simple animated video of take-offs and landings, just like football manager)
-Improvements to make this game more dynamic.

But I already like this game.

Of course if this is an April fool's day comment well... Nevertheless the slot problem is or will be one of importance with time. I just started playing this game and don't know how long it's being running for. But aleady I see an over usage of major airports slots espacially in North American airspace. Now like I said I'm new at this game which I find very intersteting, by the way, as it works in reel time and it covers pretty much the managing aspect of a reel aviation Co. This being said there is only one factor that doesn't come in effect and that is that major airport are usually Governement owned and under Federal licences regulations and jurisdictions as to smaller country airport may be privatly owned. Why wouldn't you introduce in the game a way that the players could eventually be owners of the airports by buying the rights to them and also be able to make them grow by investements. On the other hand, doing this would not give the rights to the owners to refuse or accept air traffic to their aiports making the money out of the air traffic would be the sole goal. Otherwise this could become a war market by discrimination.

I know that by doing this in the long term would put a dent in the reality factor but it's well worth it to solve at least part of this issue. Otherwise I personnaly think that a lot of player will get bored and leave the game espacially those who are starting up and can't even get a slot right at a major airport. In the long run each world is going to be left with one player.(well that's my opinion)

Enjoying the game, have fun everybody.

I also agree with todays slot system although not perfect. I am afraid this new solution will slow down the game. When this "manager" has time to give the slots to an airline? Nowdays everything goes automaticly and I really dont think a "manager" on a big airports (those big airports are the one with lack of slots) has enough time to aprove all the incoming requests. And.....
Surely managers are already "game-player"...surely CEO's of big airlines who doubtfully will decide in fairness.....

So for me it you shuld leave as it is...

today's slot system is ok for me. may be slots can increase %50-%100 and it will be enough for everyone. in real life also there is a slot problem. look at lhr-lgw etc. slots trade or selling slots gonna be a solution as well.

have fun all...
